Our Story: Built on Hard Work and Local Roots
Atlantic Insurance wasn’t born in a corporate boardroom. It was founded in 1962 by William MacEachern in a single, small room on the third floor of a New Glasgow dry cleaning building.
With just one part-time assistant and a relentless work ethic, Mr. MacEachern travelled the roads of Nova Scotia to meet with families and business owners at their kitchen tables. He knew that success wasn’t built on policies, but on relationships and a commitment to providing the best service available.
Today, we have grown into one of the largest insurance brokers in Northern Nova Scotia. While our office has moved and our team has expanded, we still adhere to the same principles of dedication and personal service that Mr. MacEachern established over 60 years ago.
